Watch Infinix Unveil the new NOTE 8 Series Smartphones Today

The event starts at 8:00 PM

Infinix is about to launch two new phones in the country; the Infinix NOTE 8 and Infinix NOTE 8i. Pre-orders started on October 12th, but the company will formally announce the two phones today.

The global launch event will be streamed live on YouTube at exactly 8:00 PM as well as on Facebook and local tv channels NTV and KTN Home.

At the forefront of the series is Infinix NOTE 8, which has a slightly bigger 6.95-inch display than the 6.78-inch on the NOTE 8i. Another distinguishing factor between the two apart from the physical size is the dual selfie cameras on the NOTE 8 and the 64MP main sensor.

The NOTE 8 does offer more memory as well. It has a 6GB/128GB memory configuration while the NOTE 8i has 4GB memory paired with either 64GB or 128GB of storage onboard.

Both phones are powered by a massive 5200mAh battery with USB Type C ports and 18W of wireless charging technology supported and run on Android 10 with XOS 7 atop.

Infinix NOTE 8 also features Helio G90T SoC, a total of six cameras(four on the rear and two on the front), Dual speakers with DTS audio processing, Corning Gorilla Glass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

On the other hand, the standard NOTE 8i sports MediaTek’s Helio G80 chip, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, quad cameras headlined by a 48MP sensor, and 18W fast charging.

Infinix NOTE 8 price in Kenya is Ksh 21,799. The Infinix NOTE 8i costs Ksh 15,999 and Ksh 17,499 for the 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB memory configuration.
