Huawei Y9a with 40W HUAWEI Supercharge launching in Kenya this month

Huawei Mobile Kenya plans to launch its latest device in the Y series, the Huawei Y9a the local market later in the month. 

Huawei has not mentioned the exact day and dates the device will be available for purchase but we first wrote about the global launch here last week 

The Huawei Y9a features a 6.63-inch TFT LCD panel with 2400 by 1080 pixels in resolution. It’s powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor composed of two high-performance Cortex A75 core CPU and six other low-performance cores.

The device has a circular shaped camera module at the back that houses four cameras: a 64-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide, and 2-megapixel lenses for macro and depth sensing. On the front, Huawei Y9a is equipped with a 16-megapixel pop-up camera.

Speaking of the soon to be launched device, Huawei Mobile Country Head Zhujie said, “In the recent years, Huawei continuously focused on the younger market. Along this journey, Huawei has accumulated knowledge from experience and developed an array of new technologies. 64MP Quad Camera captures key moments anytime, anywhere. Through constant improvements being made to camera capabilities, Huawei always brings new surprises to users when it comes to innovative breakthroughs. ‘’

Other expected features include some 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, 4300 mAh battery 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge.
