Vivo Y30 Launching in the Kenyan Market Soon

Vivo is back with another device, this time under its Y- series branding. Vivo Y30 follows the company’s recently announced vivo V19 that is currently retailing at Ksh 41,000.

Vivo Y30, set to be launched in a week, sports a similar massive 5,000mAh battery as with most of the company’s devices.

The phone packs a 6.47-inch HD+ ( 720x1560p) notched display with an 82.9 per cent screen to body ratio.

Vivo has thrown in some 4GB of memory paired with MediaTek’s Octa-core Helio P35 processor which maxes out at 2.3GHz for smooth running of apps.

Out of the box, vivo Y30 includes 128GB of ROM that will cater for your storage needs, whether it’ll be for storage of media files, documents and other things.

And like most phones in 2020, the phone packs four cameras on the back complimented with AI capabilities. The quad-camera array has a single 13MP primary camera and an 8MP lens for snapping photos with a wide 120 degrees field of view. Besides these two, there are also other two 2MP lenses, one meant for taking macro shots and the other for bokeh.

Vivo Kenya is set to announce the phone in a week’s time.

“The flexible display and design market this 2020 is growing unexpectedly. The technology is expected to expand further and diverse,” said Arthur Xian, vivo Kenya CEO.

“Our goal is to dominate in the flexible display market by introducing new products with enhanced performance and differentiated designs at an affordable price this year,” he added.
