OPPO A92 Unboxing and Quick Specs

OPPO A92 Unboxing: OPPO finally launched the OPPO A92 in the Kenyan market on May 28th. The company is selling the device at Ksh.30,000 together with the OPPO Enco W31 wireless earphones that are going for Ksh.8,000.

Both are available at OPPO stores across the country as well as on Jumia. The phone was launched just a few weeks after OPPO also launched the Reno3 for Ksh.40,000.

The A92 is a pretty good device and OPPO really tried to get everything right here. Good pricing, great battery life, great display and cameras just to mention a few. We have a review unit so we should be sharing all these details when our review finally goes up.

We already did our OPPO A92 unboxing video which you can check below. (Note: Price is Ksh.30,000, not Ksh.35,000 as we mentioned in the video)

OPPO A92 comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels at a pixel density of 405 pixels per inch (ppi).

It measures 162.00 x 75.50 x 8.90mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 192.00 grams. There’s also a 16MP punch-hole selfie camera.

The OPPO A92 on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera; a third 2-megapixel camera and a fourth 2-megapixel camera. The selfie camera as we mentioned is 16-megapixel.

The left side of the phone houses a volume rocker. The side also hosts the slot for dual SIM cards and an external MicroSD.

The right side has the power button that doubles as a fingerprint reader. We have actually come to prefer this side-mounted fingerprint readers as they’re easier to access and unlock your phone.

The base of the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port for data and charging as well as a speaker grills

OPPO A92 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM.

The OPPO A92 runs ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. It runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery.

It was launched in Twilight Black, Aurora Purple, and Shining White colours.

OPPO Enco W31 wireless earphones

The OPPO Enco W31 wireless earphones are a nice addition to this package. OPPO is selling them at Ksh.8,000.

The earphones are very small and lightweight with silicone in-ear tips to offer a more adaptable fit and help the buds stay in place.

The charging case has a smooth-matte surface, which doubles up as a wireless charger for the earphones. At the bottom of the case, there’s a USB-C port to recharge the case and buds.

The OPPO Enco W31 earphones also feature different modes like bass mode and even balanced mode. You can enjoy the different modes by simply double-clicking the left ear.

They pack a 25mAh battery offering a 3.5-hour battery life and goes up to 15 hours with the charging case of 350 mAh battery.
