This year’s Note Series takes thing even further and picks it up right from where the Galaxy S 10/S10 Plus left, as usual.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3″ FHD+ (2280x1080p) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. This delivers a 402ppi, which I know is not the best pixel density but the Note 10 should stand out owing to the screen technology used.
Galaxy Note 10 Plus comes in a “plus-size” with a 6.8″ Quad HD+ (3040x1440p resolution) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. The high resolution delivers a higher 498-pixel density, unlike in the base model. Both the models have HDR 10+ support. It is worth noting that the Galaxy Note 10 Plus will be set at FHD+ straight out of the box, but you can toggle that to QHD+ via Settings.
Camera-wise, both the base model and the plus variant have a 10MP selfie camera with an 80-degrees field of view and an f/2.2 aperture.
The primary camera is a trio-setup (16MP ultra-wide + 12MP wide-angle + 12MP telephoto) on the base model while the Galaxy Note 10 Plus has an additional DepthVision Camera that makes it a Quad set up.
Galaxy Note duo is as usual targeted at high-end users who value productivity, and this year’s devices still uphold a similar theme. Content creators will enjoy up to 4K steady video recording with HDR + support and a Zoom-In mic which should minimize on multi-directional background noise. There’s also an in-built video editor that should get some light video editing work done without a hassle.
Notable mentions about the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus cameras include the intelligent features such as Scene Optimizer, Shot suggestions and Flaw Detection. Besides, there is also a new trick introduced, a 3D Scanner which merely performs its work perfect as the name suggests.
The S Pen has received an overhaul; now added gyro sensor and accelerometer for gesture control. With the S Pen, you can export your handwriting to pdf, word or any other standard file format and it will be converted to text.
A 3500mAh battery powers the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 while the Plus variant packs a bigger 4300mAh battery. Only the Note 10 Plus supports 45W Super-Fast Charging technology for the wired charger while its dwarf model supports up to 25W fast charging. At the same time, the duo supports 15W Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. Additionally, you can still share the juice with your other galaxy device with Wireless PowerShare.
Galaxy Note 10 comes in two variants; 5G and 4G model both running on 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB non-expandable ROM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, on the other hand, has 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal expandable (sounds unfair!) and also has a 5G variant.
Under the hood, the duo includes either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC or Samsung’s Exynos 9825 SoC unveiled earlier today and runs on the latest but soon-to-be-replaced Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 8GB/256GB starts at $950(approx. Ksh 100,000 excl. VAT) while the Note 10 Plus starts at $1,099 (approx. Ksh 110,000 excl. VAT) for the 12GB/256GB 4G variant.

Samsung did not mention when exactly the Galaxy Note 10 will be available locally but pre-orders can still be made. We will update you once they go on sale.
