The Huawei Y5 2019 is launching in Kenya


Huawei is launching yet another device in its Y Series, the Huawei Y5 2019. Huawei has started sending out teasers for the device although it does not mention when exactly it will launch the phone.

The Huawei Y5 2019 was actually launched in other markets like India in April and comes with a 5.71-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 512GB).

The Huawei Y5 2019 runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie and is powered by a 3,020mAh battery.

For the cameras, expect the Huawei Y5 2019 to pack a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with an f/1.8 aperture with autofocus. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is  5-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture. The device is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, 3G, and 4G with active 4G

The device will be launched in Modern Black, Midnight Black, Amber Brown, and Sapphire Blue colours. Huawei is already running a price guess campaign ahead of the launch.
