How things went down at the Gaming LAN Party at the iHub last Weekend

So what is Gaming LAN Party? Gaming LAN parties are monthly events organized by Gaming for Kenya. This community of gamers seeks to promote PC and console gaming as a way of bringing young people together. These events attract a good number of students and enthusiastic gamers. The community started online before branching out and organizing these offline meetups which, so far, have been well received.

Last Saturday, the gamers and other game enthusiasts gathered at the iHub, battled it out all night on Call of Duty, Halo and other games. Here, gamers brought their own devices to the party and spent the whole night gaming. PC and console gamers were present, including a number of hardcore lady gamers in the event which was sponsored by ASUS.

In the audience were also ASUS and Red Bull. ASUS gave gamers free T-shirts and showcased their latest gaming laptop, the GL552J while Red Bull provided refreshing drinks to keep gamers up all night.

Watch the video above to see how things went down at the event. All in all, it was a different kind of a party and if you are a serious gamer out there you should attend the next one  we hope will be happening soon.
