Infinix and TECNO launch their new devices almost at the same time. Following TECNO’s announcement of the Spark 6, Infinix is also gearing up to introduce a new budget-focused device under the HOT Series. Infinix HOT 10 is the official retail name.
You’ll probably notice some similarities with the recently announced Spark 6. MediaTek’s Helio G70 powers the Infinix HOT 10 with 123% and 64% performance upgrade on single CPU and Multi CPU frequency, respectively, from the Infinix HOT 9 series.
Part of the major highlights of the phone is the gaming capabilities of the processor. The Helio G70 comes from MediaTek’s G series of gaming-focused processors with proprietary HyperEngine Game Technology. MediaTek claims the technology optimizes mobile gaming performance.
Infinix HOT 10 is also tipped to a large 6.78-inch screen for offering a better entertainment experience. The software has also received an upgrade, according to the company.
Infinix also says the phone will have “a high-resolution Quad AI Camera” with a shooting mode dedicated to low light situations during the night.
The phone’s design isn’t like what you haven’t seen before. It features a standard hole-punch camera on the front, slightly reduced bezels on the sides and top, and a relatively large chin – similar to most 2020 smartphones.
Infinix HOT 10 will also include fast charging technology, a fingerprint sensor on the rear, and DTS audio processing technology.
Not word is out yet on the launch in Kenya. Considering teasers have begun streaming in, the official announcement might not be far away.
