The Infinix S4 with 32MP selfie camera and waterdrop notch is here
Infinix Kenya has officially announced the availability of the Infinix S4 in the country. The S4 comes with a 32-megapixel front camera and is also the first phone from Infinix to come with a waterdrop display.
The Infinix S4 comes in variants. There’s the 3GB/32GB variant which Infinix is selling at Ksh.14,999 and the 6GB/64GB variant that will retail at Ksh.18,999.
Speaking during the launch, Migwi Livingstone, Chief Business Development Officer, Transsion Holding East Africa said “The Infinix S4 is a premium designed to offer excellent selfie camera and performance feature. We have integrated a range of the latest AI technologies on the smartphone and we are certain that the S4 will over deliver on its promise.”
Specs and availability
As I mentioned the Infinix S4 is the first smartphone from the company to come with a waterdrop notch. We’re getting a 6.2 inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels and measures 75.3 x 156.7 x 8.3 mm ((height x width x thickness)
The device is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 MT6762 chipset and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. We also have a 6GB RAM and 64GB variant. The Infinix S4 runs on Android OS v9.0 (Pie) out of the box powered by4000 mAh, non-removable battery.
As far as the camera is concerned, which is actually the key selling point for the S4 comes with a triple 13-megapixels, 8-megapixels and 2-megapixels camera. The selfie camera, on the other hand, is 32-megapixels with AI packed with the latest AI imaging techniques according to the company.
Pre-orders for the device start today in Infinix retail stores across the country by paying a deposit of Ksh.4,000. Infinix says customers who pre-order will get a Ksh.10,000 gift hamper. The first 300 customers who pre-order will also enjoy Ksh.1000 discount and Infinix branded merchandise by ordering directly on Infinixmall.
The phone will officially be available on sale beginning 23rd April, in Infinix outlets countrywide.
