Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED (T3300) Detachable Laptop Unveiled


ASUS has officially unveiled the Vivobook 13 Slate, its latest 13.3″ OLED Windows detachable laptop with an OLED touchscreen display.

The new laptop was launched on Wednesday and is the world’s first 13.3-inch Windows detachable Windows laptop1 which the company says rewrites the rules to make it easier to enjoy everything, everywhere. 

Speaking at the online launch event, Nicole Dezen, Corporate Vice President, Device Partner Sales, Microsoft Corp, said “Windows 11 provides users with the best productivity, casual gaming and entertainment experiences, and the ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate OLED delivers on all three.”

Vivobook 13 Slate OLED will be available in several unique editions starting next year, including two Artist Editions designed in collaboration with artists Steven Harrington and Philip Colbert. ASUS says these exclusive editions are themed to reflect modern pop culture, expressing the true individuality that Vivobook stands for.

The two special editions include a special cover stand, wallpaper, a unique box, a sleeve, a keyboard with keyboard stickers and hardcover case. The Standard Edition Vivobook 13 Slate OLED on the other hand bundles in a keyboard, cover stand and ASUS Pen 2.0.

Asus Vivobook 13 Slate Specs

ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate runs on Windows 11 Home and features a 13.3-inch full-HD+ (1,920×1,080 pixels) Pantone-validated touchscreen display with OLED Dolby Vision. We are also getting 16:9 aspect ratio, 550 nits of peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, 0.2ms response time, and TUV Rheinland eye certification.

The laptop is powered by the Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor, paired with Intel UHD graphics and up to 8GB RAM. ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate offers internal storage of up to 256GB.

For the cameras, the new Vivobook comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There is a 50Whr battery integrated with a USB Type-C charging port and it comes bundles with a 65W AC adapter. ASUS says that the laptop charges to 60 percent in just 39 minutes.

The power button on the Vivobook 13 Slate also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. We are also getting a number of ports which include two USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm audio port, and a microSD card reader.

The laptop also features the ASUS Pen 2.0 stylus that comes with four swappable pen tips, Bluetooth support, and one-click function. The device has a quad-speaker audio system with Dolby Atmos support and a smart amplifier technology.

The new ASUS Vivobook 13 Slate global pricing starts at $599 (roughly Ksh. 67,000) for the entry-level configuration. ASUS has not given details on local pricing including availability but we will sure keep you updated in our subsequent articles.
