ASK Tech Ventures has launched ODIGO CMS in Africa, a digital platform designed to help businesses manage, monitor and measure operations carried out by dispersed field teams across multiple locations.
The platform, developed by TalentBridge Technologies, brings planning, workforce management, field activity tracking, evidence collection and reporting into a single system. It is intended for companies managing sales representatives, promoters, merchandisers, field agents and other teams operating across cities and countries.
Mobile technologies contributed $240 billion to Africa’s economy in 2025, equivalent to 7.8% of the continent’s GDP, according to the GSMA. In Kenya, the information and communication sector grew by 4.8% in 2025, according to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics.
Despite the broader growth in digital technology, World Bank research has found that African firms continue to lag their peers in the intensity with which they use digital tools for business operations, even though digital adoption is associated with higher productivity, sales and employment.
ODIGO CMS is aimed at addressing the operational challenges that arise when businesses expand their field activities across different locations. The platform allows managers to track where activities are taking place, when they occur, what was completed and whether the required standards were met.
“As businesses scale, the distance between the person making the decision and the person executing it becomes a real management challenge,” noted Vikas Mehta, Founder and CEO, ASK Tech Ventures, while announcing the rollout.
For businesses managing hundreds of sales representatives, thousands of retail outlets or large networks of promoters, maintaining consistent visibility over activities can be difficult when information is collected through separate teams, partners and reporting systems.
“We are bringing ODIGO to Africa because we see a very practical opportunity to give businesses greater visibility and control over that last mile of execution. The objective is simple: help management move from assumptions and fragmented reports to better information and better decisions,” added Vikas.
ODIGO CMS has already been deployed in markets across South and Southeast Asia. Its expansion into Africa is being led by ASK Tech Ventures in partnership with TalentBridge Technologies, with the companies initially targeting businesses that have substantial field operations.
The platform can support activities across sales and distribution, retail execution, brand activations, merchandising, field research and audits, among other location-based operations.

The companies plan to work with local businesses and partners as they expand ODIGO CMS across African markets. The focus will be on adapting the platform to the operational requirements of businesses working across multiple jurisdictions and locations.
For companies operating distributed teams, the platform is positioned as a way to centralise field information that is often spread across different teams and reporting channels.
“Africa’s businesses are scaling, and scale creates complexity,” Vikas added. “The opportunity is to use technology to make that complexity more manageable, to give leaders a clearer picture of what is happening across their operations and enable them to act on it faster.”
