Hisa App, a Kenyan mobile investment platform that allows anyone in Kenya to invest in  U.S. stocks and ETFs using mobile money has been selected to join the NVIDIA Inception programme.

NVIDIA Inception programme is designed to nurture startups revolutionizing industries with advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science.  The programme is designed to help startups evolve faster through access to cutting-edge technology and NVIDIA experts, connections with venture capitalists, and co-marketing support to heighten your company’s visibility. It includes 10,000+ members in 110 countries.

Every NVIDIA Inception member gets a custom set of ongoing benefits,  such as NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute credits, marketing support, and technological assistance.

“We are delighted to join NVIDIA Inception and learn from the company’s immense expertise in machine learning and AI as we build the next generation of automated investing solutions for retail investors in Africa,” said Eric Jackson, Director of Product  & Innovation, Hisa Inc.

The programme will allow the Kenyan fintech to accelerate its auto-investing and robo-advisory products as well as offer it the opportunity to collaborate with other AI-driven organizations.

Hisa is Africa’s first wealth management platform that makes investing social. Launched in 2021, the app allows users access to different investment options like stocks and ETFs. It also enables users to get real-time market updates, follow market discussions, read business and finance news, and listen to hundreds of podcasts.

“Our goal with Hisa App is to improve financial literacy and make the whole investing process simpler through a social feed designed to make it possible to follow other investors and domain experts, see what they are investing in, exchange ideas,” Mr Eric Asuma, the Chief Executive said during the launch.

Hisa is available on the iOS App Store and Google Play store.
