The TECNO Camon 12 series is finally here. After teasing for the device since last month, the TECNO Mobile is finally availing the devices for purchase. As the norm dictates, TECNO’s Camon series is always about the cameras – and that is precisely where the pitch has been capitalized on since inception.
And for the new TECNO Camon 12 devices, the case is no different. The back of the devices sports a triple camera array made up of a 16 MP (primary sensor), 8 MP wide-angle lens, and 2 MP lens for depth sensing.
TECNO Camon 12 series devices will be selling locally in Kenya starting today. Camon 12 Air is priced at Ksh 13,499 for the 3GB RAM/32GB ROM model and Ksh 15,499 for Camon 12 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The front runner of the new series Camon 12 Pro is priced at Ksh 19,499 for the 6GB/64GB model.
Moving forward, in a quest to stay relevant in smartphone photography, the company plans to launch a device with Samsung’s mighty 108MP camera and even an in-display selfie camera. With the in-display camera technology, TECNO, like other Chinese manufacturers, seems to be ready to achieve the ultimate full-screen display.
