TECNO Camon 12 Series Slated to Launch in Kenya soon

After TECNO launched its camera-centric TECNO Camon 12 series in Nigeria, Kenya is next in line. TECNO Kenya plans to launch their new Camon 12 series devices locally soon. Under the Camon 12 Series, three devices will be launched including Camon 12, Camon 12 Air and Camon 12 Pro.

Unlike the Camon 11 series, TECNO has delivered a more screen to body ratio by switching from the wide notch to either a dot notched display or a punch-hole notch. The punch-hole notch is only on the Camon 12 Air though, which makes the device looks impressive. At least, to me.

Camon 12 Pro is placed at the top of the new series featuring a 6.4-inch dot notch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1548 X 720pixels. On the internals, there is an Octa-Core Mediatek Helio P22 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. With the camera being one of the main features of TECNO’s Camon series, Camon 12 Pro packs a triple camera setup on the rear [16 MP (primary sensor) + 8 MP (wide-angle) + 2 MP (depth sensor)]. The selfie camera is a 32MP snapper.

Camon 12 is the mid-ranger of the upcoming series and has few compromises especially on memory and camera as compared to the Camon 12 Pro. You get 4GB of RAM, a similar chipset, a 16Mp selfie camera and an identical triple camera setup on the rear.

Camon 12 Air features the lovely punch-hole notch on the left side of the 6.55-inch display. Memory wise, Camon 12 Air has 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). The battery is a 4000mAh non-removable one which should deliver more screen time.
