Nokia G22, C32 and C22 officially launched – Specs, pricing and availability
HMD Global has unveiled three Nokia smartphones, Nokia G22, Nokia C32, and Nokia C22. Unveiled at the ongoing Mobile World Conference in Barcelona, the company says the phones offer up to three days of battery life with improved imaging and durability in the C-series.
The Nokia G22 is also the first Nokia smartphone to come with repairability at its core, including a global collaboration with iFixit.
“People value long-lasting, quality devices and they shouldn’t have to compromise on price to get it. The new Nokia G22 is purposefully built with a repairable design so you can keep it even longer, and with advanced imaging on Nokia C32 and improved durability on Nokia C22, we are bringing even more value to the C-series.” Adam Ferguson, Head of Product Marketing, HMD Global said.
Nokia G22
HMD Global says the Nokia G22 is the company’s first phone purposefully designed with repairability at its core. The company has partnered with iFixit to offer official parts and repair guides online. The Nokia G22 allows users to replace a damaged display, bent charging port, or flat battery – even after the phone’s warranty has expired.
Nokia G22 features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720 x 1,200) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a brightness of 500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs the latest Android 12 OS and is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is also a 128GB storage variant.
The phone sports a triple rear camera unit comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a rear flash LED. There is an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
For the batteries, the dual-SIM-supported Nokia G22 packs a non-removable 5,050mAh battery. HMD Global claims the phone offers up to three-day battery life and features 20W fast charging support.
Nokia C22 comes in Midnight Black and Sand, and is available in 2/64GB and 3/64 GB memory and storage configurations.

Nokia C32
Nokia C32 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ 720×1,600 pixels) LCD display and is powered by an octa core processor and paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuild storage which can be further expanded via a MicroSD card slot.
For the cameras and videos, the Nokia C32 is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front for selfies.

The Nokia C32 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 13.

Nokia C22
Like the other C-series handset unveiled by HMD Global, the Nokia C22 also runs Android 13 (Go edition). It also sports a 6.5-inch HD+ 720×1,600 pixels) LCD display.
The phone is powered by Unisoc SC9863A, a chipset topped up with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.
For the cameras, Nokia C22 features a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens. We are also getting an 8-megapixel selfie camera, similar to what we have on the Nokia C32.
Nokia C22 features a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging and up to three days of battery backup. Just like the Nokia C32, this phone also has an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Pricing and Availability
Pricing for the Nokia C32 starts at €139 (around Kshs 19,000) while that of the Nokia C22 starts at €129 (around Kshs 17,000). The Nokia G22 Global average €179(Just over Ksh.24,000).
HMD does mention when it plans to make them available in Kenya.

Nokia C22 not expensive smartphone on Android GO with a big battery and a standard screen. RAM to a minimum, storage memory is not much, the mobilespecs are weak. The cameras are simple. Everything is determined by the price and by how user-friendly the interface is.
