Nigeria’s Kwik has launched a free eCommerce storefront for African merchants
Nigeria’s digital commerce enabler Kwik has introduced KwikStore, a storefront that enables merchants across Africa to build and run a sales and marketing website.
KwikStore is a free tool tailored for business owners, merchants, social vendor entrepreneurs and SMEs to create their own online stores in the shortest time possible. You can take as little as five minutes to build an online store and you don’t need any technical knowledge to run it.
Vendors using social media to sell their products are also able to link their KwikStores to the accounts and manage several tasks. They can automate sales, conduct fulfilment, carry out inventory management and manage delivery processes, helping them to reduce costs and free up more time to grow the business.
KwikStore is customizable to specific brand needs and merchants are able to automate payments which are done through Kiwk partners.
The company launched in 2019 as Kwik Delivery, a digital platform connecting delivery partners and corporate customers in large African cities and offering digital solutions for e-commerce payment and fulfillment.
The company reported that last year, its Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) and revenue grew by more than 400% year on year. The platform had registered 100,000 B2B users.
Kwik founder and CEO, Romain Poirot-Lellig said, “KwikStore is a milestone in establishing Kwik as the one-stop-shop for African merchants to run and grow their business from their smartphone.”
“We will continue to expand our offer of innovative digital services focused on enabling African merchants to grow their business with all the benefits that technology brings,” he added.
