The Infinix Note 8 is now official, to be available in Kenya for Ksh.21,799
Infinix Mobile is officially unveiled the Infinix Note 8, one of its flagship devices for 2020 today. The phone will be unveiled at an event that will be streamed on the Infinix Mobile YouTube channel. It will also streamed on Facebook and local tv channels NTV and KTN Home.
To be clear, Infinix will be launching two devices – The Note 8 and Note 8i.
The launch according to Infinix will be attended American tech YouTube – Marques Brownlee, better known as MKBHD and Kenya’s hiphop artist Octopizzo. Also in attendance will be representatives from Infinix, MediaTek and Vidhance who Infinix says will explain the unique and enhanced features of the new Note 8, as well as take on questions.
Pre-orders for the device started on October 12th and the phones will now officially be available at Infinix outlets countrywide, Kilimall and Xpark after the launch.
Infinix NOTE 8 features Helio G90T SoC, a total of six cameras (four on the rear and two on the front), Dual speakers with DTS audio processing, Corning Gorilla Glass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
On the other hand, the standard NOTE 8i sports MediaTek’s Helio G80 chip, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, quad cameras headlined by a 48MP sensor, and 18W fast charging.
Both phones are powered by a massive 5200mAh battery with USB Type C ports and 18W of wireless charging technology supported and run on Android 10 with XOS 7 atop.
The Infinix Note 8 will retail at Kshs 21,799. The Infinix Note 8i on the other hand will be selling at Kshs 15,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The upper model with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will retail at Kshs 17,499.
