Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Galaxy S25 Series – Everything We Know So Far
Samsung has set January 22 for its Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. This is the company’s major tech event scheduled for this year. It will take place at 10 AM PT in San Jose, California, which is 9 PM local time.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 will showcase AI advancements and new hardware. A live stream will be available on Samsung’s website, Newsroom, and YouTube.
The South Korean tech giant will unveil the Galaxy S25 series, which the company says will feature upgrades in display, camera, and AI performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Ultra will start with 12GB RAM, while the base model will start with 128GB storage. The lineup will come with OneUI 7 and upgraded Galaxy AI.
The Ultra, like the rest of the lineup, will have a new curved design(ditching the boxy corners). The camera module now has a large black border, as seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The Ultra and the Plus have even thinner bezels—thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The Galaxy S25 series may support the new Qi2 wireless charging standard, including a magnetic ring for better charger alignment and accessory compatibility. The company may adopt this standard through the phone and its case. However, charging speeds will increase from 15W to 25W.
The Ultra will come in Titanium White Silver, Titanium Silver Blue, Titanium Pink Gold, Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Jade Green, Titanium Black, and Titanium Gray. The Plus and the base model will come in Silver Shadow, Pink Gold, Navy, Mint, Icy Blue, Coral Red, and Blue Black.
The S25 series will be pricier as we’ve seen for the S24 series so it’ll be interesting to see Samsung’s local prices.
