Xiaomi Redmi 13C launched in Kenya

Perfect Affordable Gift for Christmas


Xiaomi has today unveiled the Redmi 13C smartphone in Kenya which the company says is designed to be the ideal Christmas gift. 

The Redmi 13C is a budget phone combining affordability and some quite interesting features. As the festive season approaches, Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C could be the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one. 

Redmi 13C Specs

The Xiaomi Redmi 13C comes with a 6.74-inch touchscreen display (HD+), and Gorilla Glass protection with support for 90 Hz refresh rate.  It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor and comes with 4, 6 and 8GB RAM and 128 and 256GB onboard storage.

For the cameras the Redmi 13C on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera; a 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. There is a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor.

The phone runs MIUI 14 is based on Android 13 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports proprietary fast charging.

Regarding pricing, you can buy the Redmi 13C for Kshs 16,199 for the base model packing 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and Kshs 20,099 for the top-tier 8GB RAM + 256GB  variant. The middle child packing 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage goes for Kshs 17,699.

Xiaomi Redmi 13C will be available in Kenya in midnight colour, navy blue, clover green, and glacier white, colour options.
