Here is where you can pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in Kenya


Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 pre-order: Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 last week, its next-generation devices with folding screens.

Announced alongside the new foldable smartphones are a water-resistant Tab S9 tablet and some Galaxy Watches.

Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 come with a number of interesting specs and also share a few common features with their predecessors the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4

The Galaxy Z Fold5 has received some significant refinement. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has 8GB of RAM with up to 512GB of inbuilt storage. They both run Android 13-based OneUI 5.1.1 out-of-the-box. You can read more about the specs here. 

At the launch, Samsung also opened pre-orders for the devices which are expected to close on 24th August in Kenya with general availability starting August 11th. 

Pre-orders can be made via Brandcard here or HotPoint here. The pre-orders come with complimentary gifts – a Galaxy Watch 5 for the Fold5 and a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 for the Flip5. 

The Galaxy Z Flip5 will be available in Mint, Graphite, Cream, and Lavender color options while the Fold5 is available in Icy Blue, Phantom Black, and Cream along with a variety of cases that offer practicality and style including a Slim S Pen Case, Clear Gadget Case, Eco-Leather Case, and a Standing Case with Strap.

In Kenya, the phones will cost you

  • Flip5 – KES 193,000
  • Fold5 – KES 325,000

Both devices are also covered by Samsung Care+ which offers among other things 1-year free screen protection.
