Some good news here, HMD Global is rolling out the Android 13 update for the Nokia G11 Plus for users in Kenya.
The latest update comes with a handful of new features as well as visual changes and system improvements. It also arrives with the April 2023 Android security patches.
HMD Global launched the Nokia G11 Plus in Kenya back in September 2023 and it debuted with Android 12 out-of-the-box. The company has promised two OS version upgrades, just like it does with its other devices which means the phone will also receive an update to Android 14 in the coming months.
The update for the Nokia G11 Plus is quite huge in size at 2.40 GB and bears the build number V2.420.

Nokia G11 Plus now joins a number of other Nokia devices that have received the Android 13 update. They include Nokia G10 (Review), Nokia X30 5G, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia XR20 5G, Nokia X10 5G, Nokia X20 5G (Review), Nokia G50 5G, Nokia G20 and Nokia G11.
If you own a Nokia G11 Plus, you can check for the update manually by visiting the Settings app, and then tapping on Software Update> Download and Install.
