Itel has announced the launch of its most affordable 4G smartphone, the Itel A60 in Kenya and other African markets.
Featuring a 6.6″ HD+ Waterdrop large display and 5000mAh battery, Itel says this new member of Itel A series is positioned to be a 4G high-speed network smartphone, allowing consumers to enjoy a faster and smoother browsing experience.
The Itel A60 is powered by a UNISOC SC9832E, a 4G CPU clocked at 1.3GHz. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via an external SD card.
For the cameras, the Itel A60 features two camera sensors at the back that include an 8-megapixel primary lens, and a secondary AI depth sensor, along with an LED flash.
There is a single 5-megapixel selfie camera placed within the notch on the front for selfies and video calls.
To push this new phone to consumers, Itel says it has actively organized a series of channel marketing activities to maintain client relationships and demonstrate the features of the new product.
In February, 30+ channel meetings were successfully held in 19 countries, such as Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, etc. Itel officially announced its friendly cooperation relationship with local operators and introduced the benefits to consumers from purchasing the Itek A60 with free SIM cards, free Gigs network spread, and other 4G internet service policy.
