dx5’s Africa Cloud and Security Summit Returns for 13th Year

dx5 (formerly CIO Africa) has announced that it will host the 13th annual Africa Cloud & Security Summit on 16 and 17 March 2023.

This year’s event will take place at Mercure Hotel (formerly Crowne Plaza), Upper Hill, Nairobi and will also be accessible virtually.

The Summit brings together leading cloud and cybersecurity experts and practitioners from across Africa to explore and discuss emerging trends in cloud computing and cybersecurity, including accelerating cloud adoption in the enterprise, innovations driving the future of cloud computing, strategies for choosing the right cloud vendors, data security, and compliance, among others.

“In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, Africa’s technology industry has a critical role to play in shaping the future of our continent. At our 13th edition of the Africa Cloud and Security Summit, we’re bringing together the brightest minds in technology to explore innovative solutions that will shape the future of our continent,” said Harry Hare, Chairman dx5 (formerly CIO Africa). “We are looking forward to delving into the latest trends and strategies in cloud and security. Our agenda is to invite, and collaborate with, like-minded individuals and organisations to drive Africa’s tech revolution forward.”

He added that, “The cloud has become an essential part of modern enterprise infrastructure, providing businesses with scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions for managing data and applications. As technology continues to evolve, the future of cloud computing presents both opportunities and challenges for organisations.”

The summit will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, case studies and interactive sessions led by renowned experts and practitioners in the field of cloud computing and cybersecurity. Participants will also network with industry leaders and explore innovative solutions that will shape the future of Africa’s technology industry.

Dan Kwach, Managing Director, East Africa Region at Africa Data Centres (ADC) said, “Cloud service providers form an integral part of the rich digital ecosystem in our secure, reliable, and carrier-neutral data centres. Supporting the upcoming Africa Cloud & Security Summit offers Africa Data Centres a chance to hear from our customers and other stakeholders, share what we are doing to retain our leadership position, and most importantly, ensure alignment with all stakeholders on the roles we play in Africa’s digital transformation agenda.”

The Africa Cloud & Security Summit is the premier event for cloud computing and cybersecurity in Africa. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with experts, peers, and partners in the industry.
