Budget Nokia C31 launched in Kenya for KES 16,000


HMD Global has unveiled Nokia C31 in Kenya, its latest addition under the C-series to be launched in the country.

The budget phone, HMD says features a high-definition display, triple rear and selfie cameras and long-lasting battery life all rolled into a tough, durable design at an ultra-affordable price point.

“The Nokia C-series is about making quality and durability accessible – Nokia C31 sets new standards not only for the range but entry-level smartphones in general. Everyone should be able to enjoy a great mobile experience.” HMD Global Chief Executive Officer Florian Seiche said that.

Nokia C31 Specs 

The phone comes with a 6.75-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720×1600 pixels (HD+). It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Nokia C31 runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5050mAh battery.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia C31 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary camera; a 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor. It also comes with the GoPro Quik App preinstalled so you can shoot, edit and share your creativity from anywhere.

The phone measures 169.20 x 77.98 x 8.60mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 200.00 grams.

Nokia C31 will be available in Kenya starting today in Charcoal and Mint, at a recommended retail price of KES 16,000.
