ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) Laptop Review

ASUS has continued to amaze consumers and the industry at large with innovatively designed products that allow it to perform very well against the competition. The Zenbook 14 OLED ASUS UX3402 laptop is yet another demonstration of the company’s commitment to lifting the bar even higher.

This device is laced with exceptional chips for optimal performance, while the design is a mix of complexity and sophistication, applications such as MyASUS, which allow new ASUS users to quickly synchronize data and some system settings from one laptop to another.

Another interesting feature is that users can make or receive phone calls using a linked PC. This is a groundbreaking feature and many more stand out on this device.

Advanced Keyboard Functionalities

ASUS has done an incredible job creating one of the most egocentric keyboards yet. The keyboard is built to allow users to type more comfortably, faster and with better results.

The keyboard of the Zenbook 14 OLED is set at 19.05 mm pitch (the distance between the middle of a key to the middle of its adjacent key) and offers many commonly used function keys, enabling users to type comfortably.  The keyboard is also backlit for convenient typing in dark environments. There are also several dedicated hotkeys, just to make navigation on the keyboard much easier and more friendly.

The power button on the keyboard has also been relocated to avoid accidental touches. It’s now placed on the right at the topmost row.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED is available with NumberPad 2.0, an LED-illuminated numeric keypad integrated into the touchpad. A single-touch sensor at the top right of the touchpad turns NumberPad on and off, and a tap on the icon at the top left lets you choose one of two brightness levels.
