Itel Kenya to announce new brand ambassador


If you follow Itel Kenya’s social media pages you will notice some teaser posts about a big reveal this week. The smartphone maker is not however give any details, but from the poster, it appears the company will be unveiling a new brand ambassador.

Having a brand ambassador is good for any brand and it is crucial in any marketing and branding strategy.

Appearing as the face of the company, they are seen as reliable and trustworthy sources regarding the brands they represent. They also serve the purpose of ensuring that customers who engage with the brand will remain loyal.

Implementing the use of celebrities as ambassadors for your brand has always been a great concept for any organisation so we’re curious who Itel Kenya will be working with.

Itel Kenya has been in the local market for years now and is known for its entry and mid-level smartphones. Its latest entry into the market is the Itel A58 which the company unveiled last month.

The phone succeeds the Itel A56 and is available for purchase starting at Ksh.8,650.

It comes with 6.6-inch HD+ waterdrop-style display with 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a quad-core Unisoc SC7731E SoC and comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that is expandable up to 64-Gigabytes via microSD card.

Itel Kenya will be announcing the new brand ambassador on Tuesday.
