Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Series Coming to Kenya on April 10


A month after making its global debut, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Series is coming to Kenya. Xiaomi’s local office has announced that it will be bringing the two devices under this series – Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 and Note 10 Pro on April 10th.

The Redmi Note 10 will be available in three variants of 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage configurations and 6GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage. The Redmi Note 10 Pro, on the other hand will also come in three variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is the best buy here featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch response rate.

Redmi Note 10 Specs

The Redmi Note 10 features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display.

Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC, along with Adreno 612 GPU and up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Remember as we mentioned it will be available in three variants of 4GB RAM + 64GB onboard storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage configurations and 6GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage.

The phone comes with a quad rear camera setup that houses the 48-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 13-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front for selfies.  

The Redmi Note 10 packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 10 Po Specs

The Redmi Note 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch response rate. 

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, coupled with Adreno 618 GPU  and also comes in three variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage.

Just like the Redmi Note 10, the Redmi Note 10 Pro also has a quad rear camera setup. This setup however comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 5-megapixel super macro shooter that brings 2x zoom, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera 16-megapixel and packs a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. 

I also need to mention that both phones run on MIUI 12.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Series Pricing and Availability in Kenya

Xiaomi’s local office is launching the devices in Kenya on April 10th with pre-orders starting on the same date. Each pre-order will come packed with a FREE mi band 5 as well.

The launch will be done online and Xiaomi says it will also be giving out 200 Mi band 5’s for people who will be watching the Launch event. We will share the live link on our socials on the launch date. 

Xiaomi does not mention anything about the pricing yet but we will definitely share the details as soon as we get them.
