Airtel Kenya launches ‘Tubonge’ voice product for its customers


Airtel Kenya has today launched a new voice product for its customers. Dubbed “Tubonge”, the product targets Kenyans from all walks of life that rely on making calls as their preferred mode of communication.

The voice product gives consumers 3 Tubonge offers, a daily offer for Kshs.10, a weekly offer for Kshs.50 and a monthly offer that goes for Kshs. 150. All Tubonge offers will also come with 100mins for Airtel to Airtel calls per day and a 2 shillings calling rate to any other network.

Airtel says the launch of “Tubonge” continues to stamp its commitment to offer innovative and value for money products and services to its customers.   

Speaking at the launch event, Airtel Kenya CEO, Prasanta Das Sarma stated that Tubonge is aimed at making the lives of the local Wananchi easier as it offers affordability and convenience thus making Airtel the preferred telecommunications service provider.‎

“Our customers remain at the core of our business and as such we are delighted to be launching a product that will, in essence, make their lives simple by giving them value for money while meeting all their communication needs. We endeavor to keep giving our customers the very best products and services that will positively impact their lives. ”

Tubonge is available to all new and existing prepaid customers. To opt in on the new offer, customers get to dial *544# and choose the first option which gives them the various categories for daily, weekly or monthly offers. For instance, for Tubonge 10, dial *544*10#
