TECNO Mobile Officially unveils the TECNO BOOM J8

TECNO Mobile on Saturday added a new device to its TECNO Boom series, launching the TECNO Boom J8. The TECNO Boom J8 is the successor of the TECNO Boom J8 and as we had earlier this month told you, the J8 is also the first smartphone from TECNO Mobile to run the new Hi Operating Sytem (HiOS).

The launch party was held at Garden City Mall on Thika Road and which also happened to be TECNO Brand Day. The company used this day to introduce the TECNO Boom J8 plus a range of other products to its consumers. TECNO says the TECNO Brand Day will also be held in different parts of the country in the coming week.

The TECNO Boom J8 is the first smartphone to be launched by the company in 2016 and comes with some amazing features apart from just the BOOM feature and the new HiOS.

TECNO first introduced the boom series in 2015 by launching the TECNO Boom J7 and the company’s foray into the Kenyan market has been very successful so far. J8 according to TECNO Mobile is expected to be the most popular smartphone in the country.

The 5.5’’ HD J8 is a serious upgrade from its predecessor the J7 featuring a 13MP auto-focus rear camera and 5.0MP front camera with an LED flash, a 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and a massive 3000mAh battery. It is also 4G compatible.

During the TECNO Brand Day, who purchased the TECNO Boom J8 also received a Ksh.3,900 bluetooth speakers.

I will be unboxing the TECNO Boom J8 and also have the full review soon. In the meantime you can expect the TECNO Mobile in your town anytime where they will be showcasing the J8 and other TECNO products. It will also be a chance for you to interact with TECNO employees and get your questions answered regarding their products.

The TECNO Boom J8 will retail at Kshs, 16,999.
