Tecno Camon C9 officially launches in Kenya


Tecno Mobile has today officially launched the Tecno Camon C9 smartphone into the Kenyan market. The phone which was launched at Trucom Mama Ngina Tecno brand shop is being described as the best camera phone in Africa featuring a 13 MP front and back camera.

The Camon C9 is an addition to the Camon family of the Camon C5, and Camon C8 launched sometime last year, and now the Camon C9 which comes with some big improvements in camera specifications.

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor the Camon C8, the Camon C9 is another centric smartphone tailored for those people who love taking photographs.  The phone features a 5.5inch screen , 2GB RAM  runs on Android 6.0 Lollipop alongside the new Tecno HiOs User Interface (UI) and 3000mAh battery.

The Tecno Camon C9 also comes equipped with a biometrics iris recognition sensor that scans your iris before unlocking your phone. This is the first time the technology is being used on a Tecno device.

The launch also saw those who had pre-ordered the phone walk away with the Tecno T-Band and other gifts. It also coincided with Tecno Brand Day, a day where the company has dedicated for its customers to buy Tecno products.
