Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Price in Kenya: What the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra Will Cost Buyers

The Galaxy S26 series lands in Kenya with Samsung leaning hard into its flagship playbook, led by the S26 Ultra and a lineup aimed squarely at the country’s premium smartphone buyers.

Samsung launched its flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S26 series, this week during their first Unpacked event of the year. They also announced the Buds 4 series to go along with the new premium lineup. There was a lot of talk about AI assistants and agents at Unpacked as well.

Three new devices were announced, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The lineup features incremental upgrades and will feel similar to the S25 series from last year but with a few meaningful updates.

The Galaxy S26 series gets powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, shipping with Android 16 straight out of the box paired with One UI 8.5.

The entry-level S26 has a larger battery, with the Plus and Ultra models getting faster charging speeds. The S26 Ultra is much thinner, while the base S26 now has a larger screen.

All the phones are up for pre-order, with availability starting on 11th March.

Looking at the flagship Ultra, you get a 6.9-inch QHD+ screen powered by a 500mAh battery and support for 60W fast charging. It can be topped from 0% to 75% in under half an hour. It also supports the S-Pen stylus.

For cameras, we get a 200MP wide and a 50MP telephoto in the S26 Ultra that have the same pixels as the S25 Ultra. However, the new wide camera has a bigger aperture at f/1.4, as does the telephoto lens, which sports an aperture of f/2.9.

The Ultra gets a new Privacy Display which prevents people around from seeing your screen and hides the notification area and password fields, or all of it. This feature can be configured on a per-app basis.

Google also took to the stage to showcase two important updates to Gemini shipping first on the S26 series, including an agentic version of Gemini which can perform tasks on behalf of the user. Google introduced a new version of Circle to Search which uses multi-object recognition to search for anything.

Samsung phones also ship with Perplexity AI alongside Gemini and Bixby.

The Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro were also launched, and they come with a flatter stem design and get IP54 and IP57 ratings. The Pro has a new 11mm woofer that widens the speaker area by 20% and a larger battery as well.
