Redmi A3x With Unisoc T603 Chip, 5,000mAh Battery Launched in Kenya
Xiaomi has today announced the launch of the Redmi A3x smartphone in Kenya.
Featuring a glass back and ultra-smooth 6.71” 90Hz display, Xiaomi says the new phone is set to elevate your user experience to new heights.

The Redmi A3x sports a 6.71-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Whether you’re swiping through apps or binge-watching your favourite shows, Xiaomi says the display ensures smooth transitions and vibrant visuals. With night light mode and DC dimming, it effectively reduces blue light and flicker, ensuring your comfort during extended use.
Powering the device is an octa-core Unisoc T603 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. There is also a 4G+128GB variant.
Redmi A3x runs on Android 14-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box and has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging.
For the cameras, the phone comes equipped with an 8MP main camera paired with an auxiliary lens. Xiaomi says the AI dual camera system ensures your photos are always impressive and full of life. The selfie camera on the other hand is 5MP.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock for biometric authentication and the handset measures 168.3×76.3×8.3 mm and weighs 199g.
The Redmi A3x is available in Kenya in two variants of 3+64GB for KES 11,199/- and 4+128GB: for KES 12,899/-
Color options include Midnight Black, Star Blue, and Forest Green. The phone is available for purchase starting today.
