As planned, realme has launched its two new phones in the Kenyan market; realme 7i and realme C12. Realme C12 and realme 7i are the latest budget phones from the company. Here’s everything you need to know about the two.

Let’s start with realme C12.

realme C12

Realme C12 price in Kenya is Ksh 14,999, the cheapest of the duo. It features a 6.5-inch 720p LCD panel with a waterdrop notch. Realme C12 has a 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek Helio G35 processor with an Octa-core CPU, 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

On the rear, there is a triple camera setup (13MP primary + 2MP mono + 2MP macro), an led flashlight – all housed in a square bump – and a fingerprint sensor. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera. Realme C12 comes in two colours; coral red and marine blue.

realme 7i

realme 7i costs Ksh 24,999. It includes a 6.5-inch 720p display refreshing at 90Hz, just like the previously launched realme 6. The whole system is dependent on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage.

The camera specs are bumped up from the realme C12. There’re four camera lenses at the back – a 64 MP, f/1.8 wide, an 8 MP f/2.3 ultrawide camera, a 2 MP, f/2.4 macro and another 2 MP, f/2.4 depth sensor. For selfies, you get a 16MP wide camera housed in hole punch.

The 5000mAh battery should be enough, and you get to charge it at fast speeds – 18W. realme 71 will be selling in Aurora Green and Polar Blue.
