Oppo Find X2 Will Be Announced Next Week On Friday

Oppo’s next-gen Find series device, Oppo Find X2, will be announced next week. The company announced the new launch date yesterday after the GSM Association cancelled this year’s MWC annual event due to fears of the novel coronavirus outbreak in China. The Find X2 will be officially announced on Friday, March 6th.

Oppo’s VP, Brian Shen, can’t keep calm over the phone and is more than willing to provide some tidbits about the phone now and then. Recently, he said that the phone would have a “3K” display refreshing at 120Hz.

It is not clear what the 3K implies as per now, but we bet an explanation should be coming out on Friday next week, so mark your calendar.

From the mockup Shen shared, the device will have a curved display, which extends a little bit to the edge of the device.

Oppo Find X2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipsetSnapdragon 865 – which has shown its immense capability from the previously announced phones.

When the company first tipped on the device, it promised top-notch quality display; in terms of resolution, colour accuracy, refresh rate, as well as dynamic range.

Something which, Oppo’s VP has been vocal about for some time now – even when he publicly disqualified rumour mills suggesting the phone will have an under-display camera technology.
