#CES2020: HP Elite Dragonfly G2 Laptop Unveiled, Another 5G Powered Machine With Intel’s 10th Gen CPU
HP has unveiled the Elite Dragonfly G2, a business convertible laptop that succeeds last year’s Elite Dragonfly laptop.
It is 5G capable, and HP says the Dragonfly G2 was “developed with a smart signal technology to boost antenna performance.” Qualcomm’s X55 LTE and 5G modem have been stacked in this laptop to enable support for the next-gen wireless standard.
“We are passionate about creating devices and computing experiences that lead us into the future and enable more freedom in how the next generation creates, consumes content, and collaborates,” said Alex Cho, President, Personal Systems, HP Inc.
Following the first Elite Dragonfly business-oriented laptop released last year, this year’s model has been upgraded on several aspects, including processors, storage(up to 2TB), and more. The externals have been kept the same, however.
Like other recent laptops unveiled at CES, Elite Dragonfly G2 runs on Intel’s 10th Gen Intel® Core™ vPro® processor.
Notably, Elite Dragonfly is the world’s first laptop with built-in Tile™23(optional), which ensures that you keep track of your laptop wherever it goes. The industry-leading Bluetooth tracking technology has been used by other companies as well, like Apple, for in its Mac Computers.
At the announcement, Hp did not detail everything about the Elite Dragonfly G2. There is no price or release date yet.
