WhatsApp is working on multi-device support

Multi-device support could be coming on WhatsApp soon. This is according to one of the beta versions of WhatsApp for iOS. WhatsApp beta version 2.19.120.20 for iOS has been reportedly added with a feature that requests one to insert a verification code that must have been set earlier.

Through this feature, WhatsApp can be able to work on multiple devices. Although it’s not one of the most anticipated features, this could be a nice addition and will be handy for those who use several devices daily.

WhatsApp has not had this feature since inception and this is just a step to show that we should expect a launch in the future. Currently, WhatsApp can work on multiple desktops via the web. But you know the restrictions here – your phone must be connected to the internet at the same time.

However, with multi-device support, it will be much easier to run the same WhatsApp account on different devices and this will not require the other device to have an internet connection at the same time.
