Xiaomi Shipped 1 million Mi Band 4 Units in 8 days

Xiaomi MI Band 4 is the latest Xiaomi fitness tracker that had its global debut recently. Mi band 4 is the successor of Mi Band 3 that was launched back in 2018.

Xiaomi’s executive has today revealed details about the Mi Band 4 sales which is a significant improvement over the predecessor. Donovan Sung, global spokesman and director of product management for Xiaomi announced via a tweet that the company has already shipped 1million devices in just eight days. This sets a new record for the company on its Mi Band wearables.

The MI Band global edition started shipping in some countries recently, but only a few markets have been covered. Xiaomi’s primary market India hasn’t been served with Mi Band 4 yet.

It has few upgrades over the Mi Band 3 though including a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display with 120 x 240p resolution and relies on a 2.5D glass protector, Bluetooth 5.0 support and bigger battery capacity. The device also includes heart rate monitoring, about 15-20 days of battery life, and water resistance.

The wearable comes in two options, the cheapest going for about $25 in China with the NFC-supportive variant costing a bit more (approx $33). But since these are prices in China in Kenya, it will probably cost more than that.
