Samsung picks Redington Gulf as one of its key product distributor in Kenya

Samsung Electronics East Africa (SEEA) has selected Redington Gulf as one of its key distributors for its smartphone and tablet devices in Kenya.

According to Charles Kimari, Head of Mobile Division Samsung East Africa said the partnership is set to expand Samsung’s supply coverage in the increasingly competitive mobile market and stimulate increased market share growth. “The addition of Redington as one of our key distributors will increase the availability of our devices across the country. As we have always maintained, our aim is to continuously improve on the customer experience by offering best-in-market products and grow our presence throughout the country.”

In his visit to Kenya earlier this year, President and CEO of Samsung Electronics Africa, Sung Yoon said the firm will be focusing more significantly on product, sales and marketing functions by establishing long term partnerships that will enhance business growth.

Redington Gulf Senior Vice President, Jim Mathew said, “We understand the dynamic nature of the segment and continue to develop infrastructure and expertise to meet the needs of the mobile industry. Our partnership with Samsung will further elevate our offering to the consumers with a great line-up of products.”
