Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Get One UI 6.1.1 Update

Samsung is rolling out One UI 6.1.1 across the Galaxy S24 series and brings Galaxy AI features, camera improvements, and the September 2024 security update to the company’s flagship series from last year.

One UI 6.1.1, which is already available in the new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, comes with the latest advanced features across communication, productivity, and creativity, the updated OS will elevate every mobile experience for users to deliver greater intelligence and convenience.

You get Galaxy AI features like Interpreter, Listening Mode, Chat Assist, Composer, Note Assist, PDF Overlay Translation, Sketch to Image, Circle to Search, Sound Search, and Suggested Replies. Samsung says that the Galaxy AI features will enable barrier-free communication with intelligent text and call translations, to maximize creative freedom.

One UI 6.1.1 is also bringing new camera features such as Portrait Studio and Instant Slow-mo to the Galaxy S24 series. One UI 6.1.1 is also rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and Tab S9 series.

The update is huge coming in at a 3.1GB file size and you will need to be connected to Wi-Fi to download it. You will get a notification from Samsung or manually upgrade by going to the Settings app, scrolling to the Software Update section tapping on Download and Install.

One UI 6.1.1 doesn’t bring Android 15 to the S24 series. That will probably come with the much-awaited One UI 7 update.
