vivo has announced the official debut of the much-anticipated vivo Y28 smartphone in Kenya.

The latest Y-series smartphone by Vivo comes in two colour options and with an ultra-slim 7.99 mm body that surprisingly accommodates a massive 6000 mAh battery. This, vivo says allows the device to maintain a sleek profile while delivering an extraordinary battery life.

The latest Y-series smartphone by vivo flaunts a 6.68-inch HD+ Display with high peak brightness of up to 1000nits and with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light also lets you enjoy a premium and immersive viewing experience with a super smooth user experience, especially under the sunlight. The display has a centrally located waterdrop-style notch as well.
The dual SIM (Nano) Vivo Y28 runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14.
It is powered by a MediaTek G85 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. With the extended RAM feature, the onboard memory can be virtually expanded up to 16GB. The phone is available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants.
vivo Y28 packs a dual rear camera unit, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture along with a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens. For selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens
The handset is backed by a huge 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The Vivo Y28 5G has an IP54 dust and splash-resistant rating.
vivo Y28 is available for purchase in Gleaming Orange and Agate Green in Kenya Kenya at Ksh.22,999 for the 128GB version and Ksh.25,999 for the 256GB version.
