Samsung opens pre-orders for the Freestyle portable LED projector in Kenya


Samsung has today opened pre-orders for the Freestyle portable LED projector in Kenya.

The Freestyle is Samsung’s all-new portable screen and entertainment device that displays a crystal-clear image of up to 100 inches in size. It is a projector, smart speaker and ambient lighting device all rolled into one lightweight, portable device.

Pre-orders start today 4th of April for Ksh.139,995 with a commitment of 10% of the RRP and will run until the 30th of April. They can be done here. Customers who pre-order will also get a free case.

The official product launch will take place in early May, and thereafter the product will be available for purchase in the market.

The Freestyle weighs only 700 grams allowing users to change any space into a screen with ease. Unlike conventional, boxy projectors, The Freestyle’s versatile cradle allows rotation of up to 180 degrees, enabling users to show high-quality video anywhere, including tables, floors, walls or even ceilings with no separate screen required.

The Freestyle also offers Smart TV features that are available on Samsung Smart TVs, with built-in streaming services and mirroring and casting features that are compatible with both Android and iOS mobile devices.

It comes with full auto keystone and autofocusing features allowing the device to automatically adjust its screen to any surface at any angle. Additionally, the autofocus feature allows. The Freestyle also comes with a dual passive radiator enabling a clean and deeper bass without distortion, and its 360-degree sound radiation allows customers to enjoy a cinema-quality sound experience no matter where they are.

The Freestyle is compatible with external batteries that support USB-PD and 50W/20V output or above, so users can take it with them anywhere, whether they are on the move, on a camping trip and more.
