Jumia Kenya Black Friday officially kicks off today with crazy deals up for grabs.
Jumia in partnership with thousands of sellers and brands says it will offer consumers a wide assortment of products at the best prices.
“Black Friday is our biggest event of the year. Every year we try to bring something new & exciting for our customers – which helps bring new customers into online shopping & build the category.’’ Jumia CEO Sam Chappatte said.
The campaign, which runs from November 5th to 26th November, is the biggest sale of the year.
The world’s 2nd Largest Smartphone Brand Xiaomi is also Joining Jumia Black Friday to offer its consumers super deals that would translate upto 60% OFF Discount. This comes after a successful launch of #Redmi10 in the Kenyan market last month.
Below are some of the Xiaomi deals that Xiaomi Fans should be looking out for:
Redmi 9A
Xiaomi Redmi 9A has a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a DotDrop notch. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery juiced with the company promising 19hours of battery life when binge-watching movies and TV Shows, and even more with calls and playing music.
The phone has MediaTek’s Helio G25 processor with speed cranking up to 2.0GHz. That processor is aided by 2GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi 9A ships with a single 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera The main 13MP can shoot FHD+ videos and is baked in with capabilities such as HDR, AI support, autofocus, and flash.

Redmi 9C
Redmi 9C comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Redmi 9C runs Android 10 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
For the cameras, the Redmi 9C on the rear packs a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is 5-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture.
The Redmi 9C runs MIUI 11 based on Android 10 and packs 32GB. Xiaomi Kenya will be selling it for Ksh. 11699/ this black Friday. There is also the Redmi 9C with 4 RA+128GB ROM that the company will be selling at Ksh. 13,899/
Redmi 9T
The Redmi 9T was launched back in February this year in Kenya. Xiaomi Redmi 9T sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a dewdrop notch that is home to a single selfie camera. The display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone has four cameras, led by a 48 mega-pixel f/1.8 wide lens aided by an 8 megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide with a 120˚ field of view, a 2 mega-pixel macro, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera setup can shoot FHD videos at 1080p resolution.
On the front is the 8MP selfie camera. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a massive 6000mAh battery, which shouldn’t take forever to charge thanks to the 18W fast charging support. The phone will be available for Ksh. 13,999/- down from its RRP of Ksh 18,599.
POCO M3
If you have been saving for a POCO phone then this is the right time to grab this deal. This budget phone will be available for grabs this Black Friday on Jumia for only Ksh. 13,999.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and gets 128 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. It packs in a 6000 mA battery which is good for the price. It has support for 18W charging. At that price, you’re also getting a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The display is 6.53 inches.
Redmi 10
The Redmi 10 went official recently. The phone packs a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The device will ship with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. In the camera department, the Redmi 10 features a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the from, the phone gets an 8MP camera for selfies. We are also getting a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It will be available for Ksh.18,999/-
Redmi Note 10s
The Redmi Note 10S is a slightly more powerful version of the Redmi Note 10, that Xiaomi launched in Kenya back in June. It was also launched alongside the Redmi Note 10 5G and comes in three variants – 6+64GB, 6+128GB, and 8+128GB.
The Redmi Note 10S comes with 6.43-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor. runs on MIUI 12.5 operating system, based on Android 11 and is powered by a 5000mAh battery.
For the cameras, the Redmi Note 10S packs a 64-megapixel primary main camera with an f/1.79 aperture; an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is 13-megapixel with an f/2.45 aperture.
This Jumia Black Friday Xiaomi will be selling the Redmi Note 10s (6+128GB) for 25, 499/- while the 8+128GB variant will be available for Ksh 27,499/
