Last week we told you about TECNO Mobile plans to unveil the PhonePad 3 in Kenya. What we did not know that the company was going to do it this soon. Well, they finally did it.
TECNO today officially unveiled the premium PhonePad 3 in Kenya. Tagged ‘Do business, stay mobile’, TECNO Mobile says the tablet has been made with the intention of facilitating business communications and productivity for its users on-the-go.
The PhonePad 3 is TECNO’s best 7-inch phablet and has lots of upgrades in performance and design on the PhonePad 7E that was released last year. As we had told you in our first article, the tablet some impressive features making it stand out from previous pads from TECNO Mobile.

Here comes the PhonePad 3, a user-friendly high-end device carrying the mission of offering an improved and efficient business life’’. Mr. Alvin Huang, TECNO Tablet Business Unit Marketing Director said.
The well crafted brushed metallic body TECNO PhonePad 3 is equipped with a 7-inch HD screen with a high screen-to-body ratio reaching to 74%. It boasts an improved memory of 2GB RAM for easy multitasking without lag. In terms memory, the PhonePad 3 is equipped with a 16GB internal memory, which can be expandable up to 128GB via the MicroSD card slot.
The PhonePad 3 is powered by a large 4100mAh battery which can support up to 2 business day usage when fully charged.

For enhanced security, TECNO mobile has also added a fingerprint sensor to the PhonePad 3. This is something we have not seen on the previous tablets released by the company in the previous years. With the fingerprint sensor, you can unlock your tablet easily with just one touch. The sensor can also work as a mini touchpad for reading, browsing and doing other activities.
The Phonepad 3 camera surpasses that of most smartphones in its range. A 13MP rear and 5MP front camera are what you will get with the PhonePad 3, and yes, it will also have dual flash.
TECNO Mobile has also done something interesting by adding the pre-installing premium applications like Camcard for enhanced business productivity. Camcard woks is similar to an electronic business card holder which allows you to easily manage those cards and find others’ contact details. CamScanner comes in handy for scanning documents and taking records at a single tap.
TECNO has also paired WPS Office with the 7-inch display, which makes reading, modification, and editing of text much easier when on-the-go.
TECNO PhonePad 3 supports dual Micro SIM functionality with ultra-fast 4G LTE connectivity. which makes it faster to share files and business information across the internet.
