One billion people use Facebook daily, Facebook has announced. The social media site also now has 1.55 billion users, a 14 percent increase over this time last year.
“We had a good quarter and got a lot done,” said Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO, adding that “We’re focused on innovating and investing for the long term to serve our community and connect the entire world.”
The 1.01 billion daily users according to the company which was founded in 2004 is a 17 percent increase, with 894 million of them are mobile users.
