Samsung Galaxy Note 4 now available in India at Rs 58,300
Samsung today launched its flagship phone Galaxy Note 4 in India at Rs 58,300. The phone will be available for sale from Friday, in time for Diwali season.
The Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Quad-HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 515ppi. Samsung claims the 2.4D glass display is optimised for web browising and e-booking. The phone weighs 176 grams and is 8.5mm-thick. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat and will be available in Charcoal Black, Frost White, Bronze Gold, and Blossom Pink.
It has a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage which is expandable to 128 GB with a microSD card.
The phone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 3.7-megapixel front-facing camera with F1.9 lens.
The Galaxy Note 4 comes with the S pen with enhanced pressure sensitivity and better precision. It has a 3220mAh battery which Samsung claims will charge from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes.
A key feature of the phone is also the Multi-window that allows running multiple applications on a single screen.
The phone offers connectivity options of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2X2 MIMO, Download Booster, NFC, Bluetooth® v 4.1 (BLE),ANT+ , USB2.0, MHL 3.0.
It also has an accelerometer, geo-magnetic sensor, gyroscope, RGB, IR-LED, proximity, barometer, hall sensor, finger scanner, UV, heart rate monitor.
In India, the phone will support 14 regional Indian languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya and Assamese
