OPPO Reno 7 series launching in Kenya next week


Oppo Kenya has confirmed that it will be launching its next device in the Reno seres in Kenya, the OPPO Reno 7 on 25th April 2022.

The Reno 7 is the successor to the Oppo Reno 6 and will also comprise the Reno 7 and the Reno 7 5G version.

The company says the OPPO Reno 7 series excels in all aspects of design, performance and experience along with offering state-of-the-art portrait photography and videography capabilities. ”It aims to bring a new experience to consumers by combining innovative technology and stylish design.” 

The details about the price are not revealed by the Oppo however has confirmed that the Reno 7 wil include two fresh colour options; Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black.

The Reno 7 5G which we will be giving so much attention to features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display similar to the one on the previous phone. It has a full-HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

We are also getting a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chip, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Oppo Reno 7 5G runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 on top and packs a dual-cell 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging

For the cameras, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, we’re getting a 32-megapixel selfie sensor.

Oppo ads the Reno 7 series also features the smart design that users have come to expect from the series, with a thin and lightweight body and other practical features to provide a new level of user-friendliness.

”With these design innovations and more, Reno7 is a portable device built for young users around the world to express their world on their own terms.” it says.
