Oppo Find X2 will not feature under-display camera, says Oppo VP
Ever since Oppo confirmed the existence of a successor to the Find X, the Oppo Find X2 many have anticipated that this would be the phone to bring the under-display (UD) camera technology to consumers.
Well, it looks like that will not be the case. Oppo’s VP Brian Shen confirmed on Twitter that the Find X2 will not feature the under-display camera tech “considering the obstacles of making a smartphone mass production-ready.”
Considering the obstacles of making a smartphone mass production ready, it's unlikely we will see an under-screen camera in #OPPOFindX2, as many have asked.

Putting into account the kind of technology the company decided to venture in, mass production will be difficult, and that is what Oppo’s VP is confirming. The display itself has to be crafted in a way to be transparent.
Secondly, there are also issues with image quality which the company had stated when it first showcased an early prototype of this tech in China in June 2018.
Brian Shen further added in a separate tweet that the display will “still be a key focus for the device.” Oppo Find X2 will also tag “along with a lot of other industry-leading features,” according to Shen.

That’s all I can say for now, but let me know any questions below.
Stay tuned. ?

Oppo first revealed the Oppo Find X2 device on December 2019, and it still said that the phone would have a top-notch quality display; in terms of resolution, colour accuracy, refresh rate, as well as dynamic range.
Oppo Find X2 will also be powered by Qualcomm’s newest flagship SoC, unveiled by the American chipmaker in December. The phone will be unveiled this quarter.
