Infinix is Launching the HOT 3, Here is What to Expect

It is just a month since Infinix Mobility unveiled the Infinix Zero 3 into the market, a phone that left everyone talking. The phone featured a 3GB RAM and a 20.7MP camera, which were the main talking points of the smartphone.

From what I have gathered, Infinix could be launching the Infinix HOT 3 in the market next month on 8th. The HOT 3 is the successor of the HOT 2 which was regarded  as a re-mastered version of the old Infinix HOT. Well, it was quite a good phone featuring a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor sported on the Infinix HOT, but with the 2GB RAM. The HOT 2 also came with promising Android 5.0 (Lollipop) which was seen as another big upgrade from the old HOT.

So what should we expect with the HOT 3? After so many rumors going round about some of it features, I finally got my hands on some of the confirmed key features.

The HOT 3 will be slightly bigger and slimmer than its predecessor the HOT 2 measuring 151.5*76*8.3mm. Remember the HOT 2 was just 145*71.86*8.8mm. The HOT 3 also has a larger display 5.5’’ HD.

In terms of camera, it looks like Infinix decide to retain the 2MP front camera and 8MP back camera, same as that of the HOT 2. The Infinix HOT 3 retains the 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor sported on the Infinix HOT 2 but with a a 1GB RAM for the HOT 2 variant and 2GB RAM for the HOT 3 PRO Variant.

Honestly, this new device comes as a surprise to most mobile phone users. It now seems that Infinix Mobility has been doing great in the mobile market than any other brand in the Kenya right now, releasing new devices for its users after like every two months.

Personally, I am looking forward  to this device and I will have the details for you on TechTrendsKE once it lands on 8th March.
