Top three ALX tech training programmes you can apply for

It’s just a few weeks before  ALX, a leading global provider of training in the tech industry closes applications for its 2024 cohort.

ALX offers training programmes in various on-demand technology courses including Artificial Intelligence (AI) Essentials, and software engineering front-end among others.

Applications are open to young Africans between the ages of 18-34.

Below is a list of the top three ALX tech training programmes you can apply for:

ALX AiCE – Ai Career Essentials: This is a six-week programme for young professionals looking to build their careers in Artificial Intelligence (AI). At the end of the course, trainees will have developed key professional and technical skills using AI. The programme covers 8 meta-skills, including leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, and career success.

Data Analytics (DA):  This is one of the most sought-after skills in the modern world. As the digital landscape continues to thrive and our world becomes increasingly data-driven, the field of data analytics further cements itself as a necessary and promising frontier.

Whether you have little or no experience in data, you can still apply for this program developed in partnership with ExploreAI, a leader in online data analytics education.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a certification in Data Analytics issued by ExploreAI.

AWS Cloud Computing: If you have always wanted to receive a globally-recognised AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect certifications, then this could be the perfect programme for you to apply.

This ALX programme is offered in partnership with AWS so the certification will be issued by AWS.

The programme will run for 6 weeks and each week is dedicated to a different offering of AWS, focusing on Solutions Architecture, Storage & Databases, Cloud Architecture, and Security.

Important to note that all these programmes are offered online so you will need to own a laptop or have access to a laptop or desktop.

ALX has reportedly enrolled over 100,000 students since 2021. The company hopes to contribute a significant number of skilled personnel to address a talent shortage predicted to exceed 85 million people by 2030. It hopes to train 750,000 African youths by the end of this year.
