Lawyers Hub opens applications for the 2023 Startup Law Accelerator
Lawyers Hub has opened applications for its 2023 Startup Law Accelerator program.
The Africa Startup Law Accelerator seeks to accelerate the business growth, legal setup and compliance, operational capacity and impact of startups working on legal-tech and justice innovations.
The 12-week virtual program program is targeting pre-seed and early-stage legal and tech startups (0-2 years) from across the region.
‘’Motivated by the missing link between legal-tech innovators and legal practitioners targeted to benefit from developed legal technologies, the access to legal support gap for startups seeking affordable legal services, and the access to justice gap for ordinary Africans seeking user-friendly justice services, the accelerator endeavours to bridge these gaps. ‘’ Lawyers Hub says on its website.
Selected startups will get access to the Lawyers Hub community of African lawyers for customer discovery, product testing and growth, investment readiness support and connection to legal-tech investors for funding, an opportunity to showcase their legal-tech startup at the annual Africa Law Tech Festival and Africa Legal Innovation Week among other key benefits.
The program training will focus on Business Structuring and Legal Compliance, Product Development, Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Branding, and Business Development, Sales and Partnership Building
The startups will also be trained in Financial Modelling and Analysis as well as Investor Readiness and fundraising.
